On the evening of January 15, 2008, West Fair Hort held its Annual
Awards Dinner. Mary Jo Palmer presented the awards for 2007.
The John Troy Dahlia Trophy, awarded yearly to the member with
the highest points earned for a Dahlia, was awarded to Anthony
Marzullo.
The Antonio Marzullo Memorial Tray, awarded yearly to the member
with the highest points earned for a floral arrangement, went to
Nerida Bogdanovic.
The John Rutherford Trophy, awarded yearly to the member earning
the most points over 80 for horticultural exhibits, was awarded to
Anthony Marzullo.
The A & M Landscape Trophy, awarded yearly to the member earning
the most collective points for horticultural exhibits, went to
Anthony Marzullo.
The Alemany Trophy, awarded one time per person to the
member having made the greatest contribution to the society in the
past year, was awarded to Kate Liba, incoming West Fair Hort
President and former Secretary.
In addition, many members received certificates of achievement for
horticultural displays during 2007. Congratulations to all!
